The accountant can then use the retrieved file to perform the required verifications and make corrections.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads-svn\/faq\/transmettre-des-donnees-a-votre-comptable_1_EN.png\" alt=\"Screenshot - Send to Accountant\"><\/p>\r\n<h3>Send by email (Recommended)<\/h3>\r\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>To send data by email, the electronic messaging used to send emails must first be defined. To do this, refer to the <strong>Email Settings<\/strong> section of the Acomba X help topics.<\/p>\r\n<ol>\r\n\t<li>In the <strong>General Ledger <\/strong>tab, <strong>Utilities <\/strong>group, select <strong>Accountant <\/strong>and <strong>Transfer to Accountant<\/strong>. The <strong>Send to Accountant <\/strong>window is displayed.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>In the <strong>Options <\/strong>group, check the <strong>Send via Email <\/strong>option.<strong><\/strong><\/li>\r\n\t<li>In the <strong>Recipient <\/strong>field, enter your accountant's email address. In the <strong>Message <\/strong>field, enter the message to send. If necessary, add a password to protect the file.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Click the <strong>OK <\/strong>button. The <strong>File Name <\/strong>window is displayed. Click the <strong>OK<\/strong> button.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Your software creates a backup copy and sends it directly to your accountant. The operation may take a few minutes.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<p>If you do not want to send your data by email, you can create a file on your workstation and send it using the channel of your choice (physical medium, VPN, cloud storage, etc.).<\/p>\r\n<h3>Saving a file on the workstation<\/h3>\r\n<ol>\r\n\t<li>In the <strong>General Ledger <\/strong>tab, <strong>Utilities <\/strong>group, select <strong>Accountant <\/strong>and <strong>Send to Accountant<\/strong>. The <strong>Send to Accountant <\/strong>window is displayed.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>If necessary, enter a password to protect the file.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Click <strong>OK<\/strong>. The <strong>Saving the Backup Copy <\/strong>window is displayed in order to select the appropriate folder to save the file.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>The file is saved on your workstation. Its name is AcomBak by default and its extension is BXZX.
