{"id":11727,"date":"2018-11-06T18:08:17","date_gmt":"2018-11-06T23:08:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.acomba.com\/en\/?page_id=11727"},"modified":"2018-11-06T18:08:17","modified_gmt":"2018-11-06T23:08:17","slug":"create-a-customer","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.acomba.com\/en\/support\/use-acomba-x\/create-a-customer\/","title":{"rendered":"Create a customer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Customer window is used to enter information on customers in order to:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n    <li><span>Facilitate invoicing and management of accounts receivable.<\/span><\/li>\r\n    <li><span>Produce complete and meaningful reports.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads-svn\/faq\/comment-creer-un-client_1_EN.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>To create a customer file, proceed as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<ol>\r\n    <li><span>In the <strong>Customers<\/strong> tab, <strong>Customers<\/strong> group, click the <strong>Customers<\/strong> arrow button and select <strong>Create a Customer<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\r\n    <li><span>Enter the appropriate information in the various tabs:\r\n        <ul>\r\n            <li><span><strong>Details<\/strong>: Customer\u2019s name, postal address, phone numbers and email address.<\/span><\/li>\r\n            <li><span><strong>Transactions<\/strong>: Information needed to invoice the customer: terms of payment, allowed discount, income account associated with the customer (this account is proposed by default when a transaction is entered), etc.<\/span><\/li>\r\n            <li><span><strong>Record<\/strong>: Type of account statement, opening date of the file, reference date and information concerning the customer\u2019s purchases.<\/span><\/li>\r\n            <li><span><strong>Taxes<\/strong>: Taxes or tax exemptions applicable to the customer. The taxes defined in this tab always take precedence over the taxes associated with the receivable.<\/span><\/li>\r\n            <li><span><strong>Credit<\/strong>: Type of credit line granted to the customer (none, upon authorization, upon verification or unlimited), limit and various details on the customer\u2019s credit file.<\/span><\/li>\r\n            <li><span><strong>Contact Pers.<\/strong>: Customer\u2019s contact persons (e.g. buyer, accounting clerk).<\/span><\/li>\r\n            <li><span><strong>Notes<\/strong>: Relevant information about the customer. Notes can be displayed during invoicing and printed on the invoice.<\/span><\/li>\r\n            <li><span><strong>Customer History<\/strong>: Displays the customer\u2019s transactions, from the most recent to the oldest.<\/span><\/li>\r\n        <\/ul><\/span><\/li>\r\n    <li><span>Click <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads-svn\/faq\/ico\/ico_disquette_plus.png\" alt=\"\">to save the customer file.<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Customer window is used to enter information on customers in order to: Facilitate invoicing and management of accounts receivable.
