Then right click the file and select <strong>Properties<\/strong>. Clear the <strong>Read only<\/strong> box.<\/p>\r\n\t\t<\/span>\r\n\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t<span>\r\n\t\t<p>Close the open Acomba company. To do so, from the <strong>File<\/strong> menu, select <strong>Close Company<\/strong>.<br>\r\n\t\tThe <strong>Open\/New Company<\/strong> window is displayed.<\/p>\r\n\t\t<\/span>\r\n\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t<span class=\"saisie\">\r\n\t\t<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads-svn\/faq\/recuperer-copie-de-sauvegarde-nouvelle-societe\/img1_EN.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\r\n\t\t<\/span>\r\n\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t<span>Click <strong>Cancel<\/strong> to close the window.<\/span>\r\n\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t<span>From the <strong>File<\/strong> menu, select <strong>Backup\u2026<\/strong><br>\r\n\t\tThe <strong>Select a Company to Restore<\/strong> window is displayed.\r\n\t\t<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads-svn\/faq\/recuperer-copie-de-sauvegarde-nouvelle-societe\/img2_EN.jpg\" alt=\"\">\r\n\r\n\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t<span>Click <strong>New<\/strong>.<br>\r\n\t\tThe <strong>New Company<\/strong> window is displayed.<\/span>\r\n\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads-svn\/faq\/recuperer-copie-de-sauvegarde-nouvelle-societe\/img3_EN.jpg\" alt=\"\">\r\n\r\n\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t<span>In the <strong>Name of Company Folder<\/strong> box, enter the name of the new company and click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<br>\r\n\t\tThe <strong>Backup<\/strong> window is displayed.<\/span>\r\n\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t<span>\r\n\t\t<p>Select the desired recovery options.<\/p>\r\n\t\t<p>Here is a brief description of each option:<\/p>\r\n\t\t<ul>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t<span><strong>Protected Recovery<\/strong>: data files are copied to a temporary folder before the backup copy is restored. Should a problem occur during the recovery, the original data files would be restored to guarantee the integrity of the data. Following a successful recovery, the copy of the original data files is deleted. It is recommended to select this option for every backup copy recovery to an existing company. When restoring to a new company, this option should not be selected.<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t<span><strong>Extract Acomba Files<\/strong>: This option is used to only restore Acomba data files from the backup copy. Acomba data files have the .FDW extension. Index files (.FIW) are also restored if found in the copy.<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t<span><strong>Extract Report Files<\/strong>: This option is used to restore the Reports sub-directory where archived reports are stored.<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t<span><strong>Extract Financial Report Generator Files<\/strong>: This option is used to restore .RGS. These files are reports created using either the Acomba Report Generator (.RGS). To be added to the accounting data backup copy, these files must be saved in the company folder.<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t<span><strong>Extract TFE Files<\/strong>: This option is used to restore electronic funds transfer files found in the backup file.<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t<span><strong>Extract Attachment Files<\/strong>: This option is used to restore filles attached to call, E-mail messages, etc. stored in the Attach sub-directory.<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t<span><strong>Extract Company Documentation Library Files<\/strong>: This option is used to restore files linked to the <strong>Company Documentation Library<\/strong> feature, stored in the <strong>LibCorpo<\/strong> sub-directory.<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t<span>Extract <strong>Stocktaking Files<\/strong>: This option is used to restore files found in the PriseInv sub-directory.<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t<span><strong>Extract Archive Files<\/strong>: This option is used to restore files found in the Archive sub-directory that contains reports in .pdf format.<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t<span><strong>Extract Fortune 1000 Files<\/strong>: This option is used to restore Fortune 1000 data files found in the backup copy.<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t<span><strong>Extract Additional Files<\/strong>: This option is used to restore files specified in the Acombak.txt file.<\/span>\r\n\t\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t<\/ul>\r\n\t\t<\/span>\r\n\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t<span>Click <strong>Recover<\/strong>.<br>\r\n\t\tThe <strong>Opening Backup Copy<\/strong> window is displayed.\r\n\t\t<\/span><\/li>\r\n\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads-svn\/faq\/recuperer-copie-de-sauvegarde-nouvelle-societe\/img4_EN.jpg\" alt=\"\">\r\n\r\n\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t<span>In the <strong>Find<\/strong> box, specify the location where the backup copy is saved.<\/span>\r\n\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t<span>Select the file to recover and click <strong>Open<\/strong>.<\/span>\r\n\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t<span>Once the recovery is complete, click <strong>Finish<\/strong>.<\/span>\r\n\t\t<\/li>\r\n\t\t<\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"310 This is the procedure to follow to restore a backup file to an empty company folder.
